Barbara Watt

Barbara, a paraplegic since an early age, heads up AE’s ministry to people with disabilities (disAbility Connexion). Born in Pietermaritzburg, Barbara has one daughter, Sarah (26) who lives in the UK. Barbara’s interests include bonsai and gardening. One of her personal goals is to have disAbility Connexion well established before she retires.

Jean van Rensburg

Jean heads up AE’s Prayer Ministry. Born in Essex, England, on the 7th July 1946, Jean has 3 sons, Chris (38), Russell (35) and Mark (28). Jean loves reading, walking and gardening. Her spiritual goals include expanding the Prayer Network and the number of prayer groups supporting the AE ministry. She would also like to visit as many of the prayer groups as possible and draw alongside those with special prayer needs.

 
 
Mbulelo Hina

Mbulelo Hina

Mbulelo, fondly know to all at AE as Baba Mbu, is the  Director of AE's DSE (Diploma in Social Empowerment) programme. He is married to Ziningi and they have 3 children. Their son Siyabulela has a Taxi business, while their two daughters are still students. Zipho is in the 4th year of her medical degree while Nwa is working hard at the 1st year of a BSc Mechanical Engineering. In their spare time Mbu enjoys some carpentry around the house while Ziningi loves to sew and bake and garden. As a couple they are also involved in marriage counselling in their community.

Ntombovuyo Koboka 

Ntombovuyo, known affectionately as Tilly, is the newest member of the AE SA Team, having just taken up a position as the Secretary in the DSE department. She is not a new face to our staff though, as she was previously a member of the AE Foxfire teams.

 
 
Sindiswa Matyobeni
 

 Sindiswa Matyobeni

One of the younger members of the AE team, Sindiswa was born in Port Elizabeth. Her interests include sewing, arts and crafts, reading, listening to other people’s stories, travel and talking to children. She loves challenges and prays that at each moment there would be something intriguing in her life. Sindiswa would love to learn more about the Word of God, to see the radio ministry growing and touching more lives, and to learn more about environmental issues.

 
 
Valdino Naidoo
 

Valdino Naidoo (Dino)

Foxfire Director, Valdino Naidoo (known to AE as Dino), was born in Pietermaritzburg on 21 August 1973. He is a soccer fanatic and also loves watching movies based on true stories and history. Dino is very passionate about seeing young people live purposefully and also longs to see a “healed and restored Africa.” His personal goals include living a balanced life with a healthier body, reaching more young people in a faster and more effective way, and knowing and living for Jesus Christ more each day.
